Hi guys,

I drive a 1998 T22 Avensis and have lost the ignition key with a built in remote for a keyless entry. At the dealership they wanted €200 for a new remote key so I decided to purchase an universal remote lock kit from eBay which includes a main unit (receiver) and two transmiters (remotes). Now what I need to do is to bypass the existing original receiver by disconecting it and replace it with the new one. My only issue so far is that I do not have any clue where to look for the existing receiver. Does anyone know where it is located in my car.
