My wifes 4 year old Aygo needs a new clutch after 27000 miles. I have read that the 180 mm clutch has been replaced by a 190mm clutch to prevent this early wearing out. Does anybody know if there are any other changes required ie flywheel to allow for the extra size of the new clutch? Mr Clutch are having problems finding out, but will fit a 180mm clutch for £310, however, I would rather pay slightly more now than have to change the clutch again in a couple of years time.

Thanks

Matt

I dont think the flywheel needs changing at all.

When I was having this issue I spoke to Toyota and the clutch part number had changed.

Might be worth just buying the clutch from Toyota and getting someone to fit it.

Others fitted the Yaris clutch as an alternative to the 180.
