The Auris gearbox oil is 75W-90 2.5 Litres

I used Redline 75W-90 MT90 3 Bottles requires 0.946 in 1 bottle.

Tools required:

Axle stand & jack to raise the car - Safety do not get under the car without axle stands

Ratchet 24mm Socket/Spanner - For the drain & refill plug

Bucket - catch the oil

Oil Pump with tube to refill - Draper is the one I used

Flat head screwdriver - to remove rivets

Socket set/spanners to remove the strut brace cant remember exact size (Sorry)

Strong arm - it is not neceassary but helps

Washers can be purchased at Toyota - I never thought its necessary as they were still in shape

Remove engine under tray to access the drain & filler plug

Remove strut brace to access the 24mm gearbox drain bolt located on the left side of the gearbox if your standing infront of the car

Put the a bucket under the drain bolt area ready to catch the oil

Put the bolt in a safe place & allow the oil to drain

Once all of the oil has drained refit the plug with the washer securley

Refit the strut brace

Remove the 24mm filler plug located on the right side of the gearbox it has a sticker on it saying read owners manual before refilling & keep it in a safe place

Remove the Battery carefully from the car this helped save time & effort as I was working on the ground I had very little clearance/space to pump the oil back into gearbox

You will be able to see the filler plug put the oil pump tube into the filler hole & pour oil into the pump 2.5 Litres are required once done refit the filler plug along with the washer.

Refit the Battery

Job done if your good at DIY its about 1 hour job.

Since I had removed the Battery I removed the air filter box & did the fuel filter as well, but you need a vice to remove the fuel filter because its realy tight, also did the Air filter whilst at it.
