New Rav 4

Evening All, I picked up my bran spanking new Rav 4 yesterday, after trading in my 55 plate T180.

Its a xtr awd 2.2 diesel with navigation, style pack, protection and touring pack, the whole nine yards in Decuma Grey.

So far as you would expect from a new rav it is simply stunning, fantastic drive and handling. The front end is slightly different than my old T180, also no wheel arch extentions, and no sun roof but that's all. But with the navigation head in when you put the motor in reverse the display turns into a rear parking camera............ neat !!. Just love this new Rav to bits :yahoo::toast::thumbsup:

I noticed today on the new model the dipped beam is in the middle so keep that in mind if you upgrade the bulbs.

Excellent motor - don't forget the pics

Well done - hope you enjoy it.

I was looking at what's available and spotted a red 2009 3.5 litre V6 7 seater RAV-4 on autotrader, unfortunately it's a left-hand-drive import.

Edit: link

Looks perfect, except for steering wheel location.

Hi, sorry for hijacking this thread especially since this is my first post but I was looking at an identical one today as I need to replace my company car soon and its on the list (exact same spec as you). I was really impressed with the quipment of the car and the general fit and finish.

I would be very interested on what sort of miles you get out of a tank of Diesel.

Even with LHD, it's a terrific spec for the money.

Shame we can't get the same here.

Big Kev - that would be more like an XC90 competitor.
