Hello, maybe the multiplug that carries the power to the Speakers at the back of the unit has come loose or the amplifier has failed.

Thanks for that Pete and sorry about the delay in replying. my log in failed and i had to reregister. if its the amp do u rekon it can be fixed/ Is the dash hard to remove to get the unit out?? regards

Thanks Pete went to a local one the other day and he said he would have to send the radio away but didnt quote me. thats why i posted to get some advice before. he reckoned it could be the Amp but he didnt know for sure and he has been an audio centre for 25 yrs??? regards Dan
