first hi and welcome to the club

does the engine management light come on when you turn thie ignition on?

if not then check the fuses esp the ECU fuse in the engine bay.

if the light is on then bridge the E1 and TE1 terminals in the diagnostics box in the engine bay (passenger side strut tower)

with these terminals bridged with wire turn the ignition to the on position (dash lights on but not starting)

the engine management light will flas a series of codes, for example ----- ---- would be code 54 (five flashes, pause, four flashes)

it will do this for any codes stored, and then repeat again so as soon as you get the same code up again thats all fault codes reported.

post up your codes here. if you get contant flashing eg ------------------------------, then no codes are stored.

also if the car has an immobiliser then check that this is working correctly and also check the condition of the ignition components (distributer cap, rotor arm, leads etc)

let us have an update and we'll see if we can sort it.

ah that sounds like the problem then :o

right if you have access to a multimeter ground the earth terminal of it then, with the ignition on, check you have a 12v supply at the following terminals in the check connector +B and FP.

report back with your findings.

it could be one of two things a relay down or the ecu.

also see if you have a 12v feed to the fuses EFI and IGN
