Fitting Amp & Sub To Factory Head Unit

Recommended Posts

Posted

hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone has fitted a line level converter in an aygo to be able to use a 3rd party amp/sub with the factory head unit?

If so, how do you go about doing so? as i've read people use the feed for the rear Speakers but technically there isn't any in the aygo.

Thanks

James

The feed IS there, there's just no contacts in the ISO-plug on the car.

I've hooked up quite a few subwoofers the past year or two and on the cars without

rear Speakers I've grown accustomed to putting an ISO-extension in between the

car and the radio, so I could tap off the signals from the extending wires.

What sub or amp are you planning to install? A lot of them

allready have their own High Level inputs for this purpose...
