Valve Shims 1998 Rav 4

Hi, My darling wife bought me the Haynes Manual for my 1998 2.0L petrol Rav4.

It now has 115,000 miles and is starting to need some TLC, as I generally don't do any.

I am a fairly competent DIY'r and thought the tappets (valves) were sticking as they are getting loud.

On reading the Haynes it says it uses Shims, which is no problem, but I cannot find anyone listing them for sale for a Rav4 ?

If I measure them correctly i could always have the made, but are they not available except from a main dealer ?

I would have though that Kingo could get them but if not you might have to find a 3FSE engine from a scrapper and raid it to get the right combination of shims;
