It's not bad. The traction control isn't overbearing, it lets you have a bit of fun before coming on...I'm sure I read somewhere that there is a fuse you can remove to disable it but it might be a bit of a pain to do. It also has an audio alert (just in case you didn't know) which beeps like mad if you start to slide.

Thats a relief to hear thanks, was worried after speaking to a friend of mine with a passat who could even get it to slide on ice with the handbrake.
