Does the "new model" Rav 4 have Daylight Running Lights fitted as standard yet? I know that all new vechiles in 2011 have to have this fitted as standard in the EU, but was wondering if Toyota had already anticipated the change and fitted them when they did the new model change.

Regards Clare

Clare, I don't know but I suspect it doesn't. It's only has to be applicable to new models launched after February. In industry speak vehicles going through "type approval" after that date. The new model RAV will already have been through "type approval" as it's current production.

We get the same sort of thing on new and current production automotive components.

Number 1 RAV has the angel eyes LED sidelights up front. I tend to use them all the time. Need to think about how I can integrate my Cibies back onto the machine tho !!

Just seen one of the latest facelift ones while I was out. (Probably the first I've noticed locally). Don't remember any bright lights coming towards me, so I guess you won't be seeing OEM fit DRLs on a RAV until there is a new model.
