Windscreen

I've just bought a Toyota Yaris which I am very happy with except I noticed the other day when I put on the rear de-mister that only the top three bands where working. Does this mean I have to have a new rear windscreen or can it be fixed?

If you can spot where the non working element strips are broken( it can require a very close inspection) then try some of this http://www.maplin.co.uk/electrically-conductive-silver-paint-36275

I used similar to good effect years ago. It's usually caused by carrying stuff in the boot and loading to rear window height which rubs and/or knocks the elements or carrying long lengths of say timber resting on the top of the seat backs, again touching the window.
