Dashboard Sound Effects !

Hi

Can anyone tell me what the whirring noises are that are emanating from behind the dasboard when I turn on the ignition (before starting the engine) in cold weather conditions, it almost sounds like a demister blower motor auto operating, and it goes off after a few minutes driving.

I first thought it might be the SatNav screen motor running on after the screen had reached the vertical position, but that has been ruled out.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated !!

Don't worry they all do it, it's the heater blower ...... well mine does it anyway. ;).
