Little Advice Needed!

Hi all!

I recentley purchased a 02 plate 1 ltr toyata yaris for the missus. I checked out all of the guides on here on how to fit a cd player to the coin box, I went to halfrauds and got the connector, £17.99!! The cd player is a sony xplod that we have had in a clio and a rover 25 up to now with no problems! I took all the dash out, installed the unit under the tape deck, the tape deck has three different connectors going in, the connector i got only has two, the one for the light blue block and the little white one, does that mean i leave the larger white one unplugged or do i connect it to the tape deck still? You see the problem is, the cd player comes on fine, no sound from the Speakers on any station and starts scanning through the fm1,2,3 and mw lw channels over and over, when i press the source button, it either starts beeping and says reset (which iv done several times) :censor: or it tries to play the cd, does nothing and switches itself off! Im really annoyed with the little b*****d! :ffs: so my question really is, do i just connect the light blue block, or the little white one too, and what do I do with the bigger white block? any other ideas most welcome! cheers all!

Also remember you will need to take the aerial plug out of the back of the stock unit and plug it into your Sony to get the radio working, if you haven't done so already

yup thats the one i got, connected everything up perfect, including the aerial, but i get a radio playing around like its wired wrong! think its most likely the xplod! iv got a pioneer somewhere I will try when I find it! lol!
