A/c Filter And Oxygen Sensor

Recommended Posts

Posted

Hi, basically i have two questions so i thought i would ask them at the same time. we have a 1995 carina e executive 2.0 litre 3sfe engine.

1. how do you replace the a/c filter as i think i have found it but i can't get to it or get it out.

2. Sometimes there is a running problem and there is a chance it could be an oxygen sensor, but the engine managment warning light isn't on. Does this mean that the sensor is working ok, or could the sensor still be at fault?

Thanks

2. Does the engine management light comes on when you turn the key? You know as a check that all warning lights are working. If it does, it is not broken and it should comes on as soon as the ecu find any fault code. If it doesn't come on when you turn the key the light might be broken and it could be problems with the O2 sensor.

1. I don't know. Someone wrote that it was behind the glovebox.
