It would appear so. My recently purchased xtr has style pack with side steps. I was also told by dealer that front mudflaps are not compatible.

My XT5 has Toyota OEM side steps and front (and rear) OEM mud flaps fitted, wouldnt have thought any different for the T180.

One of the reasons I liked was because the style, protection and tow packs were all fitted.

Im aware the T180s have flared arches, but wouldnt have thought it would have made a difference to the front mud flaps.

If anything, would the steps have to come off first to fit the flaps?

"Same as smiler" you do not need to remove steps to fit frt mudflaps, However i believe the very very latest models have a different style of step + frt wheel arch + won't accept frt mudflaps, which is maybe what is confusing the dealer although mine is an XT4 and doesn't have the T180s flared arches (i would get them to fit somehow) Stew

Yes they can be fitted on the T180, as the attached photo shows:

Edit: also the full photo of my RAV from the gallery shows it too RAV4 T180

My Rav has the new "premium" steps fitted. Don't think the standard Toyota flaps will fit on this design.

Ravee, just do a double check when ordering, they may be a different part number for the T180 because of the flared arches, Alleycat looking at your photo it looks like its not possible to fit o/e flaps to yours (but there may be an alternative) Stew

I think the only way OE mudflaps would be able to be fitted would be as a result of some careful surgery to the flaps.

Yes - your side step wraps round where the mud flap would fit.

On the T180, the step stops short of the wheel arch, allowing the flaps to be fitted okay.

My mud flaps are OEM and are surgery free  but it wouldn't take much to adapt them to your side steps.

Anythings possible, because of my twin exhaust (which BK won't let me post piccies of) i widened the offside rear mudflap by attaching a butchered paint roller tray  Stew
