Bye Bye T180

Well after much deliberation I have decided to part with the T180. I've had it over 3 years and its given me relatively problem free motoring. There has been a few niggles along the way such as the EGR being cleaned 3 times and the CAT needing replacing at 4 years old, but all these jobs were completed under warranty.

But, with uncertainty around the Run Flat situation and the ever rising diesel prices as well as baby on the way we have decided to make the change. We have gone for a SEAT Exeo 2.0 Tdi Cr Sport 5Dr Estate, basically an Audi A4 estate with a Seat Badge. 170 bhp so there should be enough poke not to miss the grunt of the T180 and will offer more boot space for all the baby paraphernalia. The Seat dealership offered a good deal trading the RAV in as part exchange showing that the RAV's are holding their value well!

I will probably miss the 4x4, but I will have the excuse to stop at home when the snow arrives rather than being the only person at work!

I would just like to thank all of you for the help and advice along the way, especially Anchs who has even intervened personally when I was having a little dispute at the dealers! Top bloke! Although my posts might have been limited, I can honestly say that I have logged on nearly every day since aquiring the car, the "craic" on here is addictive and I will definitley keep checking in to see whats going on in the world of RAV.

I have a spare alloy with support ring/tyre etc that will be posted it on eBay in due course, but if anyone is interested pm me.

Chris
