I have taken delivery of a Toyota Corolla E10 94 3 door hatchback. It is a standard 1.3 litre. I am wanting to turn it into a track day hero. Having spoken to my very clever bro who will be doing the transplant, I need to do some research. It is front drive as you all probably know, so which engine should I go with? I would like a reliable 180-190bhp. Money is not tight but I don't want to be silly. Could I slot a 2.0l in there? I would prefer normally aspirated. Could I buy a junked TSport and get the motor form that in there? I really do not have a clue as to what is possible and what is not. I would also prefer a straightforward transplant as this would be a first time for me and aforementioned bro.
