A Quick Hey

Hey there! The long story very quickly -

I used to be on these forums a couple of years ago as my first car was a old-style Toyota Yaris. I went away and did a couple of things for a couple of years, have been without a car for quite a while. Just under a year ago I bought a Toyota IQ!

I lurked on the forums a little when I first got the IQ, but due to the lack of Internet at home I haven't really been active apart from technically having an account!

So yeah. A quick hey. Some usual pics of my little beastie will maybe follow when I get on my laptop.

His name is Darthy. (Because when I test-drove it I commented it felt like being inside Darth Vaders helmet)

Pleased to meet you all

Hello 7, welcome to the forum, I am glad someone else is as enthusiastic about their iQ as I am! (in my case after nearly two years)

By the way, I think you put this post in a thread about the interior lights recently:

Quote:

"I've owned my little IQ for coming up to a year, which means the manufacturers warranty will be running out shortly.. So I can finally make a load of changes I've had in mind all this time!"

You actually have a THREE years manufacturers warranty (five years for new iQs now), so you had better not start messing about with things too much for another 2 years!

Why thanks! Yeah I do so love my IQ. :yahoo:

lol I realised it's down to the way I phrased it, but I didn't buy my IQ from brand new. As such let the battle of which changes to make first commence!

I haven't got around to locating some photos of my car yet, so on my way home today I took a photo in a car park (classy I know) - which came out a little bit rubbish. But it had some funky colours. So I spent a couple of minutes and knocked together a little icon-type-pic from it on my laptop.

But yeah thanks for the welcome!

I am a bit confused (as normal)...even the first IQs, which mine is (February 2009) have over a year of warranty left, so even if you bought yours second hand the warranty should be transferred to you and you should have over a year of it left.

Or am I wrong in some way, and misinterpreting your position?

My monitor nearly blew up trying to display your picture, still havn't managed to do it!
