New Verso Owner

Hi all , im new to the forum and toyota ownership, yesterday i acquired a 2005 corolla verso 1.8 vvti t2 and did not receive a owners manual, the question i have is when i start the car on the speedo assembly is what looks like a temp warning light that lights up blue, it goes off within a couple of mins of driving.

can anyone advise what this is

On mine that is exactly what the light is and goes off when the engine warms.

It means, "I'm still cold, don't thrash me yet."

Thanks for the reply, i assume as there is no temp gauge it will turn red if any problems?

That's right, the light has three modes, blue - engine cold, off - engine at normal operating temp, red - engine running too hot.
