Verso Boot Dimensions

Is anyone able to tell us the boot dimensions for a Verso in its 5-seat configuration? We would like to buy one but currently have a Zafira and would like to compare the luggage carrying potential. When you look at the owners' manuals they seem to suggest that the Verso only has approximately half the space of the Zafira but we find that very hard to believe.

The thing is the row 2 seats in a Verso are all individually slidable/foldable (whereas a Zafira has a bench in row 2) so you have much more flexibility in the space even with 5 people in the car. With a short driver and passenger in the front you can slide the row 2 seats forward to get more luggage space, or if you have passengers with longer legs you can slide them back and get less luggage space.

If there is a specific item you need to get in the car take it to your local Toyota dealer and see if it fits a Verso. I was able to get an extended test drive (Friday to Monday) before I bought my Verso, so I could try it out in different configurations, it coped fine with all 3 grandchildren in child seats, their 6ft 5in dad, their mum and grandma and me. As well as handling various DIY/flat pack purchases of all shapes and sizes since I got the car.

Even though the external width of the Verso was smaller than the C4 Hatch that I replaced, it was able to fit 3 child seats in row 2 where the C4 could not.
