Yaris 2008+ Rear Speakers And Radio

Hi guys i have a 3 door 1 year old yaris and i have 2 questions.

1) i have noticed that there are rear Speakers, but i cannot seem to get these to work? does anyone know how? or are they just for show and not actually Speakers?

2) The radio on the car seems to jump radio stations by itself mainly switching back and forth between 2 stations, i think it does this depending on which has best signal, but is there anyway to stop this from happening as it gets very annoying.

The 1.0 T2 model only has front Speakers. Most of the other models have rear Speakers fitted.

The AF button sets the option on the radio whereby it switches between channels which have the same "channel identifier code" to get the strongest signal.

Press the AF button until the display does not say AF or AF REG (ie turn it off) and this should stop. Its in the manual......

I thought the 1.0 TR had the same Speakers as the T2. To my knowledge it is only the 1.33 with the 6 speaker setup.

Yes - you're right - "most other models" have rear Speakers - all do except the T2 models and the 1.0TR.

Sorry I misunderstood the brochure, I thought the 1.0 model's 4 Speakers were front & rear. I thought the 6 Speakers added tweeters.
