Resetting The Ecu

As the post says how do you reset the the ECU on the 2.2 d4d ...just remove the fuse or something??

what is the fuse number and where is it?

does it make much difference after its been done???

what can i expect?

thanks chaps for all these Questions hope you can help

Disconnect the negative terminal of Battery for about 5 minutes.

Its like restarting your computer.

ECU will take time to learn the habbits of driver and will give you accurate MPG after couple of refillings.

when i changed my Battery, noticed that mpg increased quite a lot, used to sit on 45mpg, now its more accurate i think because it keeps changing more often depending driving style, and now sometimes it shows 56mpg :yahoo:
