T180 Tyres

I'm after a new full set of tyres for my newly purchased 07 T180, they're 225/45/17 91 W at the moment, I'm sure they're reinforced as well (XL) but I cannot remember. Does anyone know the official tyre spec for this model? Also does anyone have any recommendations on a decent tyre? I've always used Pirelli P6000's for my previous car, I'm thinking of using these on the T180 as well.

On all my previous cars i have changed the tyres to Toyo Proxes T1 R as they are very good in both wet and dry conditions, but sadly they are not cheap.

That said, if you want decent grip to keep your car on the road, then its a small price to pay IMO.

As soon as i have some spare cash available i will be changing all 4 tyres on my SR180 as the current ones are poor and too noisy.

I'll have a look into them thanks! I've just checked the handbook, 225/45/17 91 W is the OEM spec. Just reading your signature there, incidentally where is the OBD port in the Auris?

Its in a Recess next to the bonnet release catch.
