Toyota D4D Srx 2007 Engine Light Prob

My Hilux is cutting off revs when travelling below 2000rpm after the engine light comes on.The diagnostics said there is a severe leak)idont know whether fuel or air) I changed the pump,Injectors,common rail sensor and injector module no change Now it is worse the engine light is coming on just on starting,it has hard starting and produces dense black smoke.I have been to 4 dealers all saying the pump but i changed 3 pumps now Please Help

hello mate

check with resistance of both SCV mounted on the fuel injection pump body.

besides -- check with all an impulse rubber hoses connected to the turbo + compressed air hoses + respective sensor el contacts. If the RPM can not be more that 2k then-- there might be a restriction with diesel. Try to rev the engine at idle to understand whether it is beiing reved good or the same under 2k ??? Cheers/Igor
