How Many Miles Has Your Tubby Done?

I'm just about to clock onto 75,000 miles in my Rev3 turbo. How much longer do you think the old girl will last then??

Just wondering what sort of miles everyone else's have done? Mines on a 94 plate by the way.

A car has come up that im considering.. it has 100Km on it... and thats on a 1994 plate as well.. been in the country about 6 years...

going by that figure.. it works out at 62.5K miles...

Mines done 62,000 miles. They should go on for ages...... I've just bought a Rev 3 with 200,000 miles on the clock. Needs some engine attention (blew out a spark plug) so I'll let you know in due course what the rest of the mechanics are like.

my '91 tubby has done 53k

This is interesting, because when i bought mine it had 80k on it. I never thought about how long it would last me because my whole family has always had toyotas and always gone on about how reliable they are.

I've gotta say that im well impressed by how little engine issues there are with the '2. It says a lot about the engine and the make imo.

Does anyone recommend what i should do now regarding looking after the engine??

I had the cambelt changed when i bought it,

Im going to get it fully serviced but wondered what else you all do?

I know of a mk1 that had done over 260k .. and that was with regular track abuse too.

Mine is on 105k (72k of which were km's) ..

You're getting some quality life out of that clutch MR! Mines on 62,000 miles so maybe the present clutch (original) will last for a good while longer. Here's hoping........

had a few '2 's but the lowest mileage i remember ia a 90G 2.0 coupe with 26k on her had it about 2 years ago and the highest being a 93 UK T-bar that had 166k on it.. still drove spot on
