Old Avensis Cassette

I have an older style (T Reg) Avensis which still has the original Radio Cassette player in it. I have looked to see if the normal removal holes are there but it would appear that Toyota's are different from the Fords of this world. Does anyone know how I can remove the old Cassette player in order to put in a nice shiny new CD player. This is my first Toyota but can honestly say I love.

hi there take out the ashtray there r 2 screws located above hole of ashtray take them out and the whole column will pull forward from bottom first then sides finally the top hope this helps
