the car drives and handle's like a dream,i have put new plugs in and have new leads to go on at the w/e,

please note the head unit is not for sale with the car but all the rest is,the reason i am selling it is i have a daughter and it is a bit to small,to be honest dont realy want to sell her but must have a bigger more practicle car(like a skyline )

I think you should sell the bits seperatly as you will get more money for the car that way... Trust me...

Ive gone off the idea slighty of buying a GT4 now and have moved over to finding a MR2 tubby...

BUT

From what i can see.. the prices are really low for the ST185 market at the moment.. I have seen a J plate on the net for £2.5k with very low milage... about 55K...

i know that someone else had to drop their price from £3.4 to £2k before he could sell his J plate GT4...

Another point is that you can get the ST205 for £6k these days..

so i would really advise sellin the stuff seperate...you will make more money that way...

There will always be cheap **** GT4s that people will gobble up and then regret (Max Power type muppets).

Take your time to sell it and you will get the cash.

The current deal with imports is there are a few decent companies and a whole lot of shiesters, the quality ones will survive, the del-boys will not. Quality may come with a price and take longer to sell, but quality should be the key factor to a buyer.

I would however agree that removing the majority of your entertainment system would be a good move as it wont increase the value much withing the small demographic it appeals to, but it is re-sellable via eBay etc. Standard GT4's appeal to a broader demographic and that increases your chance of sale.

at the mo,might just buy a cheap escort or orion for the missus and keep the gt4,its a good car and not had any probs with it so might just finish it off like how i wanted it
