Hi everyone, well finally took the plunge today and traded in my 3 year old gen II for a five month gen III, one thing that I noticed, but in the excitment forgot to ask the salesman about, was that I noticed on the forecourt a 59 plate Prius with the Tspirit logo on the back but on my 60 plate Prius it was missing.Have they stopped putting the T3, T4 and Tspirit logos on the back ?

Regards.

Hi Diver,On my 60 plate T4 there is no badging on the rear,so I guess Mr T has done away with it.

Kind regards

My t3 has a chrome t3 Badge on the left hand side but I do think I have seen some newer ones without any badges. The Toyota website doesn't show the badges so maybe they've removed them. Can anyone with a totally brand new Prius advise?

Just looked through Autotrader and all the later Prii for sale have no badges.

Easy way for those in the know to spot an old gen 3!

Thanks everone for taking the time to reply, So it seems that Toyota heve stopped highlighting the difference between models.

My Oct 2010 T-Spirit had one in the boot - so I stuck it on myself. Weird!

Slightly off-topic but I had a similar experience to markleigh. When I bought my ex-demo May 2010 T-Spirit just before Christmas I found a plastic bag in the glovebox containing two plastic plugs. The printing on the bag said that these must be fitted as part of the PDI. I went back to the dealer and the plugs were fitted to holes under the floor, but it does make me wonder how many cars are running round without the plugs. Maybe the missing model badges are explained in the same way.
