How To Steal Keyless Car... It Is F...ng Easy

Genst,

Just some days ago, i've read how to easy steal a keyless car - so including all toyota keyless system cars.

What do you need?? Just 2 analog signal repeaters.

Just proved by swiss engineers.

Example:

You are going into the shop...... someone is following you..... with 1st repeater...... the 2nd repeater is with the guy close to your car.

So the car really is talking with the key - as the system has been designed.

So the thief can open, start and go with your car, wherever he want. Of course, if he would stop the engine - he won't start it again - but if they want to sell the parts - it is not an issue.

Luckyly - from my experience - Toyota keys have really short range. Even if i had the key in my bag in my trunk - the car was not seeing that.

even in this case - calculation of time of signal going from the key to the car does not work - no analog-digital converters in between - so the car is really thinking that the key is close.

cheers

tomek
