Hi all

My Rav is 2001 2.0 d4d GX

I have the FF radio with what appear to be sat nav controls on it.

Am i right in thinking i just need to get the DVD unit.

If this is the case does it fit in the boot in one of the side pockets and is the wiring/plugs there ready to use.

Would i need anything else as ive seen a few DVD players for sale from scrap yards.

Cheers

I expect you'll need something like a TNS300 or 310. I very much doubt if the wiring is already there.

Something like a TOMTOM or a new double din radio with nav might be easier, but, yes, probably more £.

I recall looking at these when I was looking for an integrated Sat-Nav solution and came to the conclusion that the Official Toyota solutions would come in a more expensive (even when sourced 2nd hand via eBay and the like) and would be far inferior then even the most basic TomTom kind of unit in terms of usability.

Ill stick with my tom tom if the wirings not there. Besides my back box has now seperated from the rest of the exhaust.

Very reliable these Toyotas (someone once said).
