Hi,

Can anyone tell me if this is the correct rear exhaust (box & tail pipe) for my Carina please?

Got a Carine E 1.8 GLi, P reg, 1996, Lean Burn, 7AFE.

I've been looking at exhausts with either the Bosal Part no. 280-919, or TY495J or for AT191....?

To anyone who can enlighten me - thank you!

Hi there

I should be an expert in this matter as I think that I have got exactly the same exhaust (TY495J). What I can tell you is that it is either 100% or 99% correct exhaust for this car  The reason why I am saying that is because when I fitted this, friend of mine who did it for me did not replace the rubbers. He struggled with removing the old ones and I think that they are a little bit loose now. That makes my end box to rattle from time to time against the chassis, especially when engine is running on low rev. So when you buy it I would recommend getting three new rubbers to make sure that the end box does not move too freely.
