Lowering Springs

I would like to lower my 97 trueno, about a 1-1 1/2" drop

i know this will give me a rougher ride if i dont also change the shocks...so whats best?? adjustable or nonadjustable springs?? any y'all done this b4?? where can i find a good shock/spring combo (post links where available please)??
