Egr Valve

Having looked over several posts about cleaning the Egr Valve, I decided to take the plunge and have a go myself. Sure enough, upon inspection found it to be absolutely minging and totally clogged up. Cleaned it all up and vacuumed out as much as possible. After a few repeat test drives found that there was no improvement in any respect. So I decided to try a treatment to clean it withMy link. Added to a full tank and still awaiting results. Will feedback my findings.

was the valve completely seating after clean,seen posts where saying this is easy to overlook when having a clean.

hi all , have recently purchased 05 avensis 2.0 d4d t3 estate and it keeps going into (what i have been informed to be ) limp mode , engine light now on all the time , turn off engine take out key then restart and all well again for about 30 miles then same problem ,that was week 1 now on week 3 and every 5 miles now having to restart ,can anyone help had a mechanic friend of a friend run his diagnostic on it and comes up egr valve ,car done 104000 miles with full service ,i'm a newbie so hello everyone
