Iq #2

Hello all,

Just before Christmas I sold my iQ as I was clocking up the miles (33k in just over 18 months) and joined the company car scheme with the promise that once a new lease was coming up I could have another iQ. After the misfortunes of a BMW 1 Series and now a Golf, I have just ordered another iQ to the same spec as the original (iQ2, White, Nav, iSports) but this time with leather.

Should be 5 weeks away so that means a nice new 11 plate and me only being iQless for just under 3 months.

Can't wait to get back behind the wheel of the best car in the world :D

Well done, good decision!

Are you getting a manual or CVT 1.33 or 1.0 model. If you have done 33k miles in 18 months, it must have been fairly reliable for you to want another. What was the spec of your last model?

Its another 1.0 manual (iQ2) with iSports kit and sat nav in white (the same spec as my last one) although this time I have gone for leather seeing as its going to be my company car and this option only adds a few more £££ to the lease price. The original was a cracking little car and perfect for my 3 times a week commute from Banbury into West London, however the 6 monthly sevice was staring to add up and this way all those costs are included in the lease price.

  • 1 month later...

Well iQ #2 is being delivered to work tomorrow. Taken a little longer than expected as the iSports kit had to be retrofitted at dealer since they are no longer shipping them out of the factory with this kit included.

Will let you know how she is tomorrow ;)

My new iQ2 arived on Thursday and first impressions are good!

Not sure on the new interior (quality is better but colour not so nice) however fuel economy seems better straight away and once the engine has loosened up this should only get better.

Glad to be back in an iQ
