TBH, turbo timers are only really necessary on petrol engine turbos and most people wouldn't want to pay the extra money for it when it isn't really necessary.

Unless you're going from the motorway to a dead stop and engine off *all* the time the turbo will unlikely be damaged; Only situation that you're likely to do that is pulling into a motorway services or if your house is on an A-road. :)

The normal urban driving town driving that you'd do once getting off the motorway should be enough time for the turbo to cool to safe levels, as diesel engines generate much less heat than petrol engines when unloaded.
