What Alloy Wheels/tyre Combo For An 03-Plate 3-Door Nv?

I'd like to upgrade my wheels and tyres (currently running standard rims with Dunlop 215-70R 16s) - I presume these were the original rims?

It seems to me that 17 or even 18 inch wheels are the more popular choice for this vehicle. Can anyone recommend an alloy/tyre combo in a 17-inch or should I stick with 16s?

This site has some reasonably-priced rims but not sure if they are suitable.

Any advice appreciated.

Stu

235/55/17 are std size on the Granite models (including 3 door)

Think thats what BigKev has.

Have seen 18's too, look good but practicality maybe starts to suffer?

I would also look at the sometimes sizeable price differences, Stu, between 16" and 17"/18" tyres if you are on a budget. Don't misunderstand me....IMHO, the Rav looks a wee bit "limpwimp" on 16" rims, and I would likely change them too. Marsky the Wheel Expert will be on I'm sure to guide ye through the maze.

I changed wife's 235/55/17 on the 3 door Granite to "60" profiles, and as documented hereon previously, it rides the woefully potholed Glasgow roads MUCH better.

Big Kev.

Stu....keep an eye on McEbay too....sets come up now and then.
