Hi Guys

Took delivery of the 07 T Spirit this afternoon, wife said, dont crash it on the way home, made that journey ok.

Managed to load up 6 CD into the unit, struggled to get the main screen up but got that sorted, started putting all the stuff from the Jaguar in it, pens paper sweets, been through most of the instruction books, I expect I will learn in good time. Hopefully sorted out a few scratches on it, but its now so cold outside 5-10 minutes is enough, so it can now till we get some sun, I really want to wax it, as I always do with new cars.

So people I am now one of you, like it or not. Thank for all your thought and tips over the pasted couple of weeks, we will now see how we go.

I posted it the other day thinking you pick it up there is 4 I am told, he handed me a pack plus the Englsh one that is in the unit.

My car is September 07, dont know if that makes any differants.

I was wrong, there is one in the unit, UK, in the box there is Europe A, Europe Central E10, Europe North E10 and Europe East E10, so 5 in all, my car was registered on 27th September 07.

Hi Colin, congrats on the new car!

Here's a quick "newbie" tip for you.

You're obviously going to sit in the car in your driveway with the heater, lights and stereo on, reading the manual and trying all the buttons and so on. With it being winter, the engine will probably be running on and off to keep you and the car warm. This is normal. - However, don't then get worried when you see that your initial average fuel economy figures aren't as high as those you hear more experienced hybrid drivers quoting. The fact is that engine running + not going anywhere = appalling fuel economy.

(I only mention it because I made the same mistake myself). :D

I too have an 07 T Spirit and have now done about 2000 mile in it. Currently part way through a trip up to Newcastle and back in it.

It's much better on the motorway than people would have you think!

All in all I'm really pleased with mine.

Hi MGnut, mine was reg Nov 2007, it's definitely all on one disk for mine as I can view maps of Denmark,Sweden, Spain,Italy and all western Europe as shown on Toyota's map update website, 22 countries in total

Well that is what is with mine, maybe the ones for my car were missing and thay have got an earlier set from some where, I really dont know,

the UK one works ok maybe I sould tey one of the others to see what happens.

Congratulations on your purchase - hope you end up loving yours as much as we all love ours!

I've had my 57 plate since October and love everything about it.

With regard to fuel consumption, bear in mind that as the weather gets warmer and your technique improves, so will your consumption of petrol decrease - I reckon by as much as 20%. When I first got mine, my 3 mile morning commute gave about 50 mpg. This morning I got 63 mpg - roll on the non-winter. Viva Toyota!
