Hi Folks,

My car has a Toyota 2 litre 3y engine fitted and I have a problem in regards to the carb just above where the fuel line comes in there is a small cylindrical device with one black wire coming from it but it is not attached to anything should this be earthed ,switched live ,permanent live ?it looks like a fuel shut off device of some sort but only guessing any help would be appreciated.

I have found an image of a similar carb with wire I need to know about ,I have put it on a word doc but cannot figure out how to upload photo ?

This is the site with picture the wire in question is the white wire at side of small cylindrical device top left.
