Exhaust For My Turbo....

Hi, can anyone tell me where to source a rear silencer for my rev1 turbo as it failed the MOT, because it has a BIG hole on it.

You can get a stainless steel replacement (whole system) from Life Long Exhausts in Bristol for around £300 and that will last forever. Do a web search for them, or directory enquiries.....

Thanks for your help Dame. I did call them up and they said it would cost near £500.... by that mean, wouldn't I better off buying the mongoose system?

I had a rear silencer made for me by ashley exhausts in walsall for my old Corsa, sounds the mutts and only cost £120! Bargain.

Powerflow exhausts allowyou to pick tailpipe design, sound etc and they're usually quite cheap.

Crumbs, their prices have gone up a lot, when I called them last year they quoted £500!! Maybe they have realised that their systems were cheap compared to others...... If that's the case then yep, Mongoose would be a good system to fit.

looks like standard box is more suitable for me then....since the current standard with a hole has too much power to offer (almost uncontrollable).....

Managed to get one standard box off from eBay for £56 including delivery 2 days ago.

However, my import agent phone me up and offer to give me a 5ZIGEN exhaust for FREE......

yehaa... i'm over the moon now... any1 has this exhaust on thier turbo before? is it gonna be loud?

erm my mongoose and de-cat was only 97Db at the loudest reading at combe wqhen i had it so isnt too loud :)
