Heaters Barely Warm On Full Power

I thought it was just me, but husband-to-be commented on it too so thought I'd seek your opinions.

Our first '08 Aygo - When the heater was set on full hot, 1 blower/fan speed, the car got very toasty and you'd have to turn it down.

Our new '11 Aygo go - When set to the same setting the car is warm, but you feel like it would be nicer if it was just a little warmer. You have to turn the blower up to 2 to get the same sort of heat we got out of our '08 Aygo.

So I was wondering, has anyone else experienced this in their newer Aygos? If not, I might have to take it back, I don't want to find out in the summer that its because the thermostat isn't working properly.

Ours is 6 months old and takes a while to warm up ... We have to use 2 on the fan and 3rd spot down on the heat... Takes about 5 mins to warm up, but then we can turn the heat down a bit....

Sorry, should've been more specific on that point. I meant when it's warmed up, even after the 35-50min journey to university it's still no different.

Have a word with the dealer, could be the cable from the lever (is there one?) needs some adjustment??

I have to keep moving mine between 1 and 2 as its too cold on 1 and too hot on 2 but doesn't seem odd as its pretty cold out.
