I dont know if you call position light something else in UK?

But position light in Denmark is the small light above the headlight. When you turn off the headlight the small position light is still on.

Understand? :) it is a small 5W5 bulb.

My question is - have anybody installed another 5W5 bulb, with another colour? Whote - blue - yellow - Etc. ??

sorry my bad english.

and.. my name is SIDNEY not S'Y'DNEY :P hehe..

We have "sidelights" and headlights. I think "parking lights" is a term used sometimes too.

First "on" position of the switch puts on the sidelights and the second "on" position puts on the headlights.

Turning the switch back or "off" twice puts out both sidelights and headlights.

Does your "position" light remain on when the light switch is "off" as in Sweden with Volvos and Saabs, for example, or is it the same as our "sidelights" and is off when the switch is off?

I can't answer your particular question though, but I have changed my yellow/amber indicator bulbs for clear ones, so they don't look yellow/amber when not flashing.

UK "sidelights" have to give out a white light I believe, so we couldn't change the bulb colour.

In Germany it is called "STANDLICHT" (two frontlights): they MUST be always white.

But you can change them to "coolblue" they have a blue touch.

Osram is offering this pair.

12 Volt 5 Watts with a glassocket W2,1x9,5d 3400°Kelvin

high on price :fox:

Thanks Sidney, as others have said we call ours 'sidelights' and in the UK they must be white... Nothing to stop us changing them , but the police would be unhappy
