OBD also has RPM on it. I have a ScanGauge II in my car, can't see why it wouldn't be safe...

Just wanted to say that if the ECU may break because of the OBD.

The ScanGauge it seems a bit expensive, right? Do you where installed it?

I can't link you to the Dutch forum as it's members-only.

Plus I'm not 100% sure in fthis forum will allow Cross-posting.

The Dutch forum DOES link to this one, so I'll try,

if not allowed, sorry moderators!

And everything is in Dutch, so you wouldn't be able to understand

I'm afraid. You could try in English, but that usually results in a

lot of blabbering and no real answers in my experience.

Rather than looking on eBay for "Aygo rev counter",

Have a look for "Aygo breaking" then make a few phone calls,

it's only a 2 screw & 1 bolt / screw job.

You can also try "citroen C1 breaking" and "peugeot 107 breaking".

Big selection. All the rev counters are the same.

(Just make sure it is the correct petrol / diesel one !)

Ian.

Before I went to a garage and they said they can not be installed in my car, tomorrow I will call the dealer to try there.

As I said before: no Power Steering means no connector for the revcounter...

Hi everyone. I’ve seen the reply with the part number for the screw to hold the tachometer in place once installed but what size is the screw? Isn’t it just a normal screw and washer. I don’t want to pay best part of £10 for one screw. I think I’ve seen it’s an m10 screw but what’s the length of it… also please correct me if I’m wrong. Thanks in advance.
