Stereo/cd Player And Sat Nav Not Working

Hi, I have a 2001 1.8gs auto Avensis. The stereo/cd player and sat nav have just stopped working. The trip computer is still working on the display and functions with the appropriate buttons, but nothing works for the stereo or sat nav. Sometimes you can here the noise of the engine through the Speakers (if that makes sense) and when this happens if I press the fm/am button the mpg will dissapear and go blank. I have pulled the whole unit out to make sure everything was connected properly, but no joy. Any ideas folks?

I checked the fuse by my right knee behind the flip out box thing, thats fine. When i removed it it turn of the trip computer on the display. I noticed at night the cd player eject button does not illuminate, is there a seperate fuse for that?

Also I removed the cd unit and found that it had 2 x 2p and a 5p coins in it. I imagine the previous ownes ids put them in there. It must of shorted the thing out by making conections inside, hopfully blew the fuse, where is it ahhhhhhhhh lol

Just to let you all know the radio/stereo/satnav is now fixed and working. The model is W53804. The top half was working ie the trip computer, but the sat nav, cd or radio was not. After removing the units I found 3 coins in the cd player part, so I decided either the player was broke or it would have popped the fuse. There are 2 fuses for this unit. 1 is by your right knee (when sitting in the drivers seat) behind the flip out box. This one controls the top half of the unit ie trip computer. The other fuse which controls the cd part of the unit is in the fuse box under the bonnet by the Battery. In my car there is a diagram on the back of the flip out box and a diagram on the lid of the fuse box under the bonnet which tells you what fuses are what. Hope this helps anyone.
