Hi everyone,

I have a 2004 D4d 116bhp. I am trying to find the ECU fuse or fuses. There are two entitled "ECU" in the owners handbook, fuse number 48 ("ECU IG" - cooling fans / charging system / ABS / Power steering / VSC) & fuse number 57 ("ECU-B 2" - Wireless remote control / Aircon), but although they are entitled "ECU" their function descriptions are varied, so I'm not sure if they are actually the correct ones!

Thanks in advance for any help!!

Simon

Hi Simon, the ecu fuse is under the bonnet but if you want to reset the ecu disconnect the neg Battery lead for a little while that will do the same thing.

I have attached a picture of the fuse box on your car.

Regards Pete.

Hi Pete - thanks so much for that. For other peoples info, thats fuse 26 ("EFI" 20 amp) in the handbook.

I'll pull it out this a.m. - trying to clear some fault codes to see if they reappear after some tinkering. If it doesn't work I'll disconnect the Battery.

May post my fault code symptoms later if I have time.

Cheers for now.

Simon
