Need Help With Cd Player Wiring

Hi i got a 97 1.4 starlet last weekend. The stero in it was pritty bad and it keep loosing all the radio stations when the engine was off, so i wanted to swap it with the stereo i had in my old clio. I got the two stereos out fine but, the wiring for the stereo in the starlet is a mess, there are cut wires all over the place. It looks like only 2 Speakers are wired in the rest are cut and i dont know if other wires for the power are cut to. I pluged it in but it has no power. even the arial plug was cut of, the bare arial wire was just shoved into the socket. anyone got any info or help on how to wire this thing up right. the stereo make is goodmans.
