Choking Smell, Injector Seal?

My 06 plate 1.4 diesel aygo had problems with a injector a year or so ago, and it was replaced under warranty. I now have a choking fuel-type smell filling the inside of the car on every journey if I'm using my hot/cold air. I've been told by one garage that it's a faulty seal on one of the injectors, but they never got back to me with a quote. Anyone else had this issue? Is it a bad sign that will probably mean the whole injector needs replacing? I've had tiny bouts of loss of power but nothing very noticeable or regular.

The garage said the seal itself is very cheap but would take a while to fix...
