The DM flywheel went on the RAV, Im dreading the bill, think I might nail the letterbox shut.

It went while i was on holiday, mrs put it in to the garage and I never had any internet while I was away so could do any research into it. I wish I had. Looking at a £1500 bill!!

Hi A1an

Mines in photo below, had DMF replaced back in june last year, had clutch done at same time....as free labour whilst its in bits, there are a fare few of us out there with DMF issues in the big wide world, but compared to rav's sold,we are a small amount.

Mines a 52 plate

Mine had covered around 87'000 ish miles at the time & felt a little ropey, but after DMF & clutch replaced, felt good as new....now at 97'000....still feels almost new.:D

There is a member called ' Chatman ' who had same troubles but has clocked up almost 140'000 now,his is still going strong ( same as mine)

And after all , its cheaper than a new motor.
