1990 Camry V6 Performance Issues

Hello to all.

I have a couple of queries regarding my 1990 Camry V6 2.5 GXi; don't know if anyone can help me.

Does anyone know where I can find an illustration of the torque curve of this engine? I know it develops 155 ft/lbs @ 4400 rpm but I have always considered the engine rather listless and wondered how much torque was developed lower down the rev range.

Secondly is it possible to remove the catalyser and replace with a silencer/pipe, and if so would any modifications need carrying out on the engine?

As you can see performance is the issue!

Cheers

Carl
