I have no wish to seem rude but it really is a matter of reading the car handbook.

Although the instructions read somewhat oddly if you persist you will do it

I have also just purchased the same car for private hire. Page 77 of the owners manual has the instructions on how to do this. Good luck

I've just spent ages outside trying to figure out the instructions.... :censor:

Needless to say I have done nowt to switching the 20mph locking function off or setting the P possition to open all doors... !Removed! fustrating... can some one please put in a step by step...

I've only also just figured out that the start stop button has 2 settings other than just starting the engine....

So do I turn the ignition on (engine running) or press the button once (without pressing the break pedal) or pressing the start button twice...

Please help :help:

Regards

Rob

Hi VMC...

do you hold the ignition button down for a further 5 secs after turning it on at the same time keep the locked button depressed????

Hi Rob

Mine has ignition key not button.

The sequence was ignition off, doors closed and unlocked.

1 - Press and hold down lock button on driver door.

2 - Turn on ignition so normal dash warning light light up.

3 - Keep lock button held down for at least 5 seconds.

Hope it works for you, it does make life easier.

Cheers for that VMC...

Unforutnately I've not been successfull with your step by step description either... kinda wondering if its a trip to my local MR T for this...

From what I understand there should be an option which opens all doors when you shift into P

Rob
