Can anyone help - garage says new wiper unit £320 fitted.

The wiper motor runs with ignition on but will not stop.

is it likely to be wiring or the motor.

Are the wash power unit and wiper power unit seperate.

many thanks for any help

If the motor is running and operating the wiper correctly then the fault is elsewhere. It could be the switch or the relay. The washer and motor are separately controlled.

many thanks Fitter. I disconnected the motor to stop it operating the wiper. I will reconnect and take it to my local toyota agent. Perhaps they will find the problem.
